Leave me alone

At this point in my life let me re-iterate a few things.

I don't want to be wanted.
I don't want to be needed.
I don't want to be the responsible one.
I don't want to be the resourceful one.

I don't care if I'm the life of the party.
I don't care if I'm the go-to-guy.
I don't care if I'm wiser than the average bear.
I don't care if I bring stability to those around me.

I am all these things because all these are inherent in me.
I didn't just decide one day that I'll be like this.
Its no show, its no gimmick, its no ploy to get in to someone's pants.
I'm certainly not one for shameless plugs and pats on the back.
I can only be ME.

So leave ME alone...

SEO... Meh!

So, from your html code you did your meta tags, listed all possible keywords. You submitted your URL to all the search engines, you've even done the click cheat... its been months already yet your ranking is still crap.

Sure, you can buy one of them 'SEO for dummies' type of books, downloaded SEO cheat sheets and followed them to the letter, avail of Google's SEO tool kit, even pay a third-party to do your SEO for you, yet your ranking is still crap.

If so, you might want to look at your brand, your product, take a second look at it, it may not have been the 'the next big thing...' you thought it to be.

How you position your product/app/whatever is also key, you may not be first to market but a with a killer campaign you could outshine your biggest competitors.

If you're just starting out, it would be more tactical to go regional rather than global from the get go, not unless whatever you're selling is unique or at least niche.

If you 'just want a piece of the action' and ride on someone else's unique idea that became a hit, you probably wont rank high either, you are sadly mistaken if you think you're the only one who thought of it.

SEO can only do so much, in the end its about what your selling and how effectively you market it.

Punyeta! Bakit pati blogger tagalized na??!!

Dear Google,

So please lang po, tama na yang regionalization, in the long run it will lead to marginalization and tribal mentality instead of true globalization...

SEE!!! Naubusan ako ng tagalog (Ran out of tagalog) and promptly reverted back to my native writing tongue (ENGLISH).

Sigh....

Crossposting with Multiply

I'm finding it inconvenient that Multiply's Import Blog feature (Crossposting) doesn't seem to work.

I'm trying to consolidate all my logs to multiply but it doesn't seem to be happening.

Ho hum... I think I'll try googling for the answers for a while...

Bad vibes and birthdays

Birthdays are over rated. Birthdays suck. So what if you were born on that calendar day some odd years before? What's there to celebrate other than the reality that you are one step closer to the afterlife?

Personally I dread the coming of my birthday every year, it seems that even though I've always believed that I am NOT the center of the universe, its as if the celestial forces come together around this time just to play a cosmic joke at my expense, of course the severity might differ every year, but the fact is, every year, around this time, shit happens to me, it never fails.

Just last week both my computer and car broke down, not so bad you say? Well, I will not reveal why at the time it was of the utmost importance that both these thing should be at hand, but suffice it to say that, it was a matter of grave importance.

Coincidence you might say, well, as far as I can remember, ever since my 12th birthday it never fails, bad news will come my way during my birthday week, from my parent's separation to last weeks mechanical breakdown. Something bad will happen around this time, and it sucks big time, karma week happens a few days before May 14 but thankfully it all ends a few days after, too.

Happy birthday to me? Hah! FU!

Yet another attempt...

Okay, I've decided to revive this blogger account, it was my very first, I've had this account since 2004, sadly I've pretty much never touched it after the first entry, after creating this blog I found a couple of blog sites that I found a bit more interesting and promptly moved on.

Blogging is so big nowadays that people are actually getting paid to write their thoughts, go figure, at the time I created this account, blogging was the "next big thing" read: a passing internet fad that would just fade into obscurity as soon as it lost steam. But hey little did everyone know...

I've never been addicted to blogging. I've had a few more blog accounts across the net after I created this one but I never been able to keep a steady schedule. This time around I hope I'll find the time to do this regularly, hopefully the fifth time's the charm. This is my fifth attempt at starting a daily journal type of blog. ;)

I decided to delete whatever I had here before, it wasn't much to start with, but knowing blogger had been bought by Google, I kind of knew this would be the place to re-start my blogging adventure.

So tonight it resumes, the Chielectric blogging adventure starts a new, so let me bid you once again...Welcome! Welcome to The Dark Comedy That Is My Life!
